Development Background

Short-sightedness (Myopia) is the most common of ametropia (eye abnormality) in the world. There have been lots of studies about its causes with the factors related to progression, treatment and prevention, etc. People with short-sightedness use optical products such as spectacles or contact lens for a lifetime, or seek solutions to correct short-sightedness; consequently, it has become a socially costly eye disorder. Short-sightedness mainly occurs around age 3 through 15, and its prevalence rate is rapidly increasing.


Social scientists believe that industrialization-driven urbanization, with increased short-distance works (long time focus in close viewing distance) and intensive courses with time spending on paper works and books due to greater demand for education and better job opportunities, has consequently led to increased rate of short-sightedness. The common use of computers as well as the rapid proliferation of smart phones and 3D TV have highly increased the possibility of being exposed to the occurrence factors associated with short-sightedness.


National Eye Institute in USA announced that in 1990, more than $ 1 billion per year was spent on the examinations of ametropia in the United States with more than $ 1.5 billion spent on spetacles or contact lenses.


In this regard, our Korean partner, through collaborative study and cooperation with RusMedGroup (RMG) in Russia, focused mainly on color impulse therapy and has developed a device named e-eyeGYM™ for eyesight care. It is a stable, efficient and economic method for eyesight care.



What is Color Impulse Therapy(CIT)?

According to the studies and analysis by researchers*, Color Impulse Therapy (CIT) can be summarized as a method of using both the frequency of color and unique rhythm of pulsating light to prevent and mediate visual and other disorders. All objects on the earth, both living things and inanimate objects have their own oscillation frequencies which give balance to the cells. The human body also consists of cells that have constant bio-rhythms. When the body is in a healthy condition, its bio-rhythms resonate strongly and actively; when the body is in disorder or in an unbalanced condition, its bio-rhythms are distorted. In this respect, color impulse therapy can be used to balance distorted bio-rhythms by applying modulated therapeutic frequencies.

Program name Description
1 Myopia

Program 1 - the morning program for short-sightedness care. Recommend for use between 9:00 am and 11:00 am for the most effective result.


Program 2 - the universal program for short-sightedness care. It can be used anytime when feeling visual fatigue.


Program 3 - the afternoon program for short-sightedness care. Recommend for use between 11:00 am and 1:00 pm for the most effective results.


Program 4 - the evening program for prevention of high degree short-sightedness and retinal dystrophy, and for preventative care of low or medium short-sightedness. Recommend for use between 5:00 pm and 7:00 pm, and before bed time for the most effective results.

5 Astigmatism

Program 5 - intended for astigmatism care.

The following reminders can be helpful for improving the effectiveness of e-eyeGYM™

1] Proper Posture when Studying and Reading

‧ Keep book over 35 cm away from eyes.
‧ Do not bend or stain neck.
‧ Take a 5-minutes break after one hour of study or reading.


3] TV and Games

‧ Keep computer screen over 60cm away from eyes.
‧ Keep TV screen over 2 meters away from eyes.
‧ Spend no more than one hour per day for watching TV or playing computer game.

2] Proper Posture when Studying and Reading

‧ Avoid dark areas for reading.
‧ Keep brightness of interior illumination over 500LUX.
‧ Choose indirect light for reading.
‧ Keep lights / lamps clean.
‧ Avoid flickering lights which can overstimulate eyes.


4] Eating

‧ Try to consume more vegetables including Vitamin A, B, C, E and calcium. (e.g. milk, anchovy, apple, tomato, carrot, blueberry, etc.)
‧ Regularly consume protein-rich food e.g. cheese, fish, eggs, etc.
‧ A balanced diet is recommended.


5] Lifestyle and Habits

‧ Gaze into the distance from time to time.
‧ Try to look gaze at blue sea, mountains or night sky frequently.
‧ Manage your fatigue and stress.
‧ Avoid smoking or over-consumption of alcohol. Get sufficient sleep.
‧ Consume more water, as approximately 70% of our body consists of water.
‧ Do eye-blinking exercises for more than 30 seconds each day to cleanse the eyes.

1. It is very simple and easy to use. Try it now!
2. Put Ringgit Malaysia 20 cent coin (23mm) on the screen and exactly match the coin size pictured on the screen by pressing either"enlarge"or"reduce"buttons on screen till two sizes are identical.


3. Press key F11 on PC keyboard and only the eye test chart will appear in full screen mode.
4. To get the correct results, test your eye sight in 3 meter away from the PC/LCD screen.

5. Measure your eyesight by covering one eye and then measure another eye in the same way. Do not press on eyeball.
